Two stories in this issue carry the code "DR9" suggesting they were originally intened for another publication, possibley Dramatic Romance (Pyramid Publications) #9, which was never published.
The title 'Dramatic Romance' was mentioned in a newspaper article on 15 October 1952, indicating at least one issue was on sale at that time. Pyramid Publications probably ceased publishing at that time and was wound up as a company in 1953.
Company Chairman T. H. Rayner called a meeting of creditors and an Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders for 1 July 1952 to resolve that the company, due to its liabilities, could not continue in business and should be voluntarily wound up (trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/220072250). A General Meeting was held 8 September 1953 to determine final matters on how the company would be wound up (trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/220067256).
It appears Barmour (Magazine Management) acquired some of the company's assets during this period.
