Biography
Lorna Bingham was a writer, actor and producer. She was a leading writer for George Edwards during the 1940s
Bingham took over scripting the iconic Dad and Dave radio serial when when creator Maurice Francis left to enlist during the second world war. She wrote many episodes over nine years and also acted in the series.
She wrote for the children's serial The Search for the Golden Boomerang and wrote two books based on it illustrated by Hartmut Lahm.
