Ted Brodie-Mack is a New Zealand born, Australian-raised artist. He worked frequently as Brodie Mack with writer Archie E. Martin [as Peter Amos].

Ted was writing and doing art as a gag cartoonist and cover illustrator for the Wellington publication, New Zealand Free Lance (?, 1901 series), from 1915 to 1917. He moved to Australia to take an executive position for the Fullers Theatres Ltd. He started acting as an agent writer for stage and theater acts. Brodie-Mack helped found The Black and White Artists' club.
