Biography
Ken Murray established the iconic magazine, book and comic publishing company, which included a range of publisher names.
Notes
Murray's was born in Bowral to Alfred Arthur (10/10/1883-22/5/1953) and Bertha Letitia (nee Lake, 20/11/1887-1957), who had married on 3 June 1908. He was the first of five children, with three sisters and a brother. Within two years (1911), the family had moved to Sydney's inner west. He married Phyllis May Downton (born 1912 to Sidney G and Florence V) in 1933 and they had at least one son, Greg, a key founder of Gredown.
