Kit Carson King of the West (The Amalgamated Press, 1949 series) has been grouped as part of a series of titles with continued numbering.
Following issue #37 of Kit Carson Cowboy Comics, the numbering continues at #38 with Billy the Kid and a rotating roster of Buck Jones and Kit Carson stories, similar to the Amalgamated Press UK Cowboy Comics. The various Buck Jones and Kit Carson issues are visually similar to previous consecutively numbered series and it superficially looks like issues of those series weren't published.
The publisher is uncertain, but appears to be an anonymous Australian publishing effort by Amalgamated Press. The Land Newspaper is often treated as the publisher but is listed just as printer for the majority of comics from this publisher (but not all).
