Barry McKenzie (Barrington Bradman Bing McKenzie) was created by the Australian comedian Barry Humphries (based on a suggestion by Peter Cook) for a comic strip, written by Humphries and drawn by New Zealand artist Nicholas Garland, in the British satirical magazine Private Eye.
