"Magman Standard 1979-1984 series" is a group of 91 titles with continued numbering.

From December 1965, Magazine Management comics were published as one-shot issues with 'catalog numbers' on the cover, rather than separate titles in sequentially numbered series.

Magman's Standard 28 page comics ran through several series restarting at '01' or '001':

• 1965-1966 series: 15 and 16 prefixes.
• 1967 series: 17 prefix.
• 1968 series: 18 prefix.
• 1969 series: 19 prefix.
• 1970 series: 20 prefix.
• 1971 series: 21 prefix.
• 1972 series: 22 prefix.
• 1973 series: 23 prefix.
• 1974-1975 series: 24 and 25 prefixes.
• 1976 series: 26 prefix.
• 1978 series: 28 prefix.
• 1979-1984 series: 29, R12, R13 and R14 prefixes.
• 1985 series: R15 prefix.

The codes provide a guide to the year of publication, although some issues appear to have been released in December the previous year. There appears to have been no comics published with codes for 1977, 1980 and 1981. A similar 28 page Top Comics series used 3 as the prefix.
