"Invincible Short Story / Pageant" is a group of three titles with related contents.

The series includes some Australian authors (Frank Clune, Dulcie Deamer, Will Lawson whilst others), as well as US authors such as John Steinbeck, Paul Gallico, James Michener, Ray Bradbury and Agatha Christie. It also includes photographs, cartoons and news stories of the day.

Short Story Magazine was renamed Invincible Short Story Magazine in 1949, and again renamed Pageant in 1953, with numbering restarted to issue #1. Further information is available at The FictionMags Index.
