"The Search for the Golden Boomerang" is a group of seven titles with related contents.

The radio serial The Search for the Golden Boomerang began on 15 April 1941, broadcast 6.15pm every Tuesday to Thursday around Australia on stations such as 2UW, 2KO, 2GZ, 3CV, 3SR, 4MK, 7HO and 7DY (see nla.gov.au/nla.news-article99936665 and nla.gov.au/nla.news-article113019344). It ran until at least 1948.

This serial was parodied by Emile Mercier in his comic series 'The Search for the Golden Wombat'.
