Movie 74 (Modern Magazines Pty. Ltd., 1974 series) has been grouped as part of a series of titles with related contents.
Murray publishers acquired Modern Magazines in 1979, although Modern appears to have continued as the indicia publisher for some time. In 1982, Murray sold most of its magazine assets to Federal Publishing, which briefly published Movie until Greater Union took over as the listed publisher.
From 1988, issue do not include the year as part of the cover title. However, the editorial address includes it and the issues continue to restart numbering each year.
