The Crimson Comet Comic (Leisure Productions, 1949 series) has been grouped as part of a series of related titles with an ongoing title/feature.

Creator John Dixon handed over work on this series to Albert De Vine, possibly from issue #8. Dixon returned in the 1950s and made Rivers an operative of the UN Intelligence Service.

The exact issue where the publisher changes from H. John Edwards to Action Comics is unknown. Some early issues list the publisher as Leisure Productions.
