The Phantom (Magazine Productions Pty. Limited, 1955 series) has been grouped as part of a series of titles with continued numbering.

The listed publisher for this series changed over the years. The exact issue when many of the changes occurred is still to be confirmed. While Tricho Publications was listed on other Frew comics, including Giantsize Phantom, it has not been recorded for The Phantom issues.

Due to production problems, Issue 330 wasn't published--although it was ultimately presented as a supplement to The Phantom #1830 in January 2019.

Tom Hughes designed the Frew logo and was the primary Phantom cover artist for over 30 years until 1988.

Peter Chapman was possibly the first editor and was editing the series in 1949 when he took over creating The Phantom Ranger.
