The Federal Publishing Company Proprietary Limited is a generic name used for this publisher where the specific printed name is not logged in the AusReprints database. The printed publisher name might be different.
140 Joynton Avenue, Waterloo 2017
The Federal Publishing Company reprinted contemporary DC and Marvel comics. FPC was a publishing division of Hannanprint, formed through the acquisition of leisure and special interest publications from ACP Publishing, the company that acquired Murray from its founding family in 1972. Hannanprint's Eastern Suburbs Newspapers (subsequently ESN The Litho Centre) also printed the comics at that time.
Some publishers used diverse publisher names in their comics. These can reflect distinct operating divisions, but may just disguise operations in the face of bans or censorship. Ausreprints records minor variations as they can help dating for undated comics.
