In the 1960s, Thorpe & Porter launched the Top Sellers imprint and published Dell and Gold Key reprints of Tarzan, Korak, Bonanza, Rin Tin Tin, Gunsmoke, The Lone Ranger and The Saint. In 1964, DC's distribution arm bought Thorpe & Porter. Top Sellers hired British comics veteran Mick Anglo in 1965 to create a new title, Miracle Man, based on his earlier Marvelman. The series lasted 13 issues. The Anglo edited Super DC reprinted DC characters in a British-format black and white monthly. It also lasted just 13 issues.
Some publishers used diverse publisher names in their comics. These can reflect distinct operating divisions, but may just disguise operations in the face of bans or censorship. Ausreprints records minor variations as they can help dating for undated comics.
