3-5 North York Street, Sydney (1955-58)
In 1918, The Co-operator Ltd. changed its name to New Century Press Pty. Ltd. The company produced books (Australian fiction, history and children's), as well as popular magazines including The Australian Quarterly (1929-1934), Aussie (1920-1931), and Humour (1920-1959?). During the 1950s, it published comics, often with the logo "Famous American Comics" or "World Famous American Comics". New Century Press also printed comics for other Australian comics publishers (into the 1970s) and is at times incorrectly reported as the publisher.
