Editorial Columba was founded by brothers Ramón and Claudio Columba, and succeed by two generations of sons by the same name (Ramón and Claudio). Facing a crisis in mid-2000, Columba cancelled all its series and relaunched titles based on its most popular characters. The move failed and Columba published its last comics in May 2001 and ceased operations that year.
