The Sea Rover was a promotional comic strip from A. Wander Ltd., manufacturers of Ovaltine. Based on its advertising radio serial, the series ran about 90 episodes, each Tuesday in The Argus Super Comic supplement from 12 August 1947 to 22 February 1949. Episides of the Sea Rover were included in early issues of Superman comics as an advertising feature. This Annual was advertised in The Sea Rover episodes in Superman Color Comics 21. It was also advertised in issues of The Mail Sunday Magazine from Sunday 4 September 1948.
