A more detailed review reports "Five Australian black-and-white artists have each a page wherein to show how entertaining they can be. All Work on topical subjects, including aviation, the Mawson Antarctic expedition, the schoolboys' strike, and the importation of domestics. There are any number of stories designed to make the reader laugh, the best of 'lifted matter' being interspersed with ori-
ginal items by local authors. Features of the publication will be selections under the respective headings of 'Best bits from best books,' 'Wit of the world,' 'Told in the smokeroom," and "The popper box." There are illustrations
