This cartoon booklet, satirizing Prime Minister Robert 'Bob' Menzies, was produced by the 'no' campaign in relation to the Australian Referendum held on 22 September 1951 to give the Commonwealth Parliament power to make laws with respect to communists and communism where this was necessary for the security of the Commonwealth.

Frank Hardy states that a million copies were printed -- Hardy, Frank (intro.) (20 November 1953), 'Ambrose Dyson: Man and Artist of the People’, Melbourne: Ambrose Dyson Memorial Committee. See also 'Ambrose Dyson People's Artist' (25 November 1953). Tribune (Sydney, NSW: 1939-1976), p. 5. Retrieved 21 October 2017, from nla.gov.au/nla.news-article212472305. (The booklet is available online at www.reasoninrevolt.net.au/objects/pdf/d0760.pdf and at the National Museum Australia collectionsearch.nma.gov.au/object/58709) Other reports suggest 'over half a million' -- Aarons, Mark (2010) 'The Family File', Melbourne: Black Inc.
