Mick Stone's checklist in Bonzer reports that this issue is composed of reprints strips originally published in The Women's Budget.
First published by Frank Bennett in January 1906 and continued by his son Christopher Bennet, 'The Women's Budget' was published at 49 Market Street Sydney, along with the 'Evening News' (1869-1931) and 'Town and Country Journal' (1867-1931). In 1929, the company (S. Bennett Ltd.), was merged with Sun Newspapers Ltd to become Associated Newspapers Ltd (ANL), 168 Castlereagh Street, Sydney.
'The Women's Budget' was incorporated into ANL's 'Woman' magazine (later renamed 'Women's Day') around 1937, with the name retained in the subtitle until at least 1944. The magazine included household, health and beauty advice, sewing and knitting patters, recipes, stories and cartoons. 'News and Notes' (3 February 1906). The Coburg Leader (Vic: 1890-1913), p. 1.
