This publication includes text and photos, with some cartoons by George Needham. Radio star Bob Dyer had a daily syndicated newspaper column 'Bob Dyer's Diary' from Thursday 5 April 1945. Initial columns focused on his four-week tour of 'forward battle areas'. This publication appears to be based on those columns with additional material. Followng the tour, 'Bob Dyer's Diary' columns continued until October 1946.
