A longtime comic book fan, Van Niedek was occasionally active in fan circles before becoming a founding member of [gcd_link_publisher](4910) in 2009. There he pencilled, colored, lettered and occasionally wrote features such as [gcd_link_feature](1763) (with writer [gcd_link_creator](13923), [gcd_link_feature](1792) (with writer [gcd_link_creator](14033)), [gcd_link_feature](1753) (again with Schenk), [gcd_link_feature](1750) (with Schenk and inker [gcd_link_creator](13921)), [gcd_link_feature](1752) (which he wrote himself), and [gcd_link_feature](1844) (with writer De Neef and inker Van de Werken). In 2022, he, with Van de Werken, started [gcd_link_publisher](17081), their own publishing firm. His stories have also been published in Germany, Belgium and the United States.
