Biography
Webb was a prolific author of mysteries, romances, gothics, novelisations, and non-fiction, including This Coffin Taken?, Somewhere within This House, Carnavaron's Castle, The Craigshaw Curse, The Empty Attic, Roses from a Haunted Garden and No Match for Murder".
He wrote over an extended period from the forties to the eighties. He wrote romance novels under a woman's name, Roswell Brown.
Some of Webb's pulp romance novels were published by Invincible Press in the fifties.
Notes
There is some speculation that Webb might be a woman, though the consensus seems to be that he was male.
