Biography
Duncan-Brown was married to photojournalist John Hill, the brother-in-law of George Warnecke, co-creator and founding editor of the The Australian Woman's Weekly in 1933. In the early years of the Weekly, Duncan-Brown wrote many poems that were illustrated on the front cover.
Notes
In 1947, Warnecke co-founded Atlas Publications with his fellow journalists Jack Bellew and Clive Turnbull.
