In 1942, Raynor exhibited at Joe Holloway's Sketch Club, described as 'a skilful pencil portraitist'. (The Bulletin v63#3277, 2/12/1942)
In the mid 1940s, Raynor drew a number of comics for the Offset Printing Company. He also illustrated a number of covers and children's books for the company.
The chairman of Pyramid Publications Pty. Ltd. was TH Rayner at the time the company was wound up in 1952 unable to meet its debts. (Government Gazette of NSW #150, 18/7/1952).
Raynor worked as a commercial artist.
