Zauberkreis Verlag, based in Rastatt, was founded in 1946. From the early 1950s it published pulps and later paperbacks and comics. In 1985, Zauberkreis was sold to Erich Pabel Verlag . It remained a division of the Pabel publishing house until 1987, when use of the brand ended.
