A children's magazine publishing company, that in the 1980s published more than 20 magazine titles. It was originally a division of Lorimar Telepictures, but publisher Donald Welsh bought the division in 1987, and then sold it in October 1994 to Marvel Comics.
Non-comics magazines include Barbie, Barney, Muppets, Mickey Mouse, Statue of Liberty Centennial, Thundercats, Snoopy, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Masters of the Universe, Little Mermaid, G.I. Joe, etc.
