Biography

Germano began his career writing short stories. As a combat correspondent, he wrote articles documenting the marines in the second world war.

Germano wrote western novels under several pseudonyms and one science fiction novel. He also wrote mystery and western short stories, including for the Jim Hatfield Texas Rangers series. He wrote for mainly western and science fiction television programs (1953-1978). He wrote some of his later scripts with his wife, including the animated cartoon televisions series The Little Prince.

For eight years in the 1970s, Germano was associate editor of The Californian, the newspaper of the Golden State Mobilehome Owners League.
